We have used Malc for over 20 years, for jobs big and small.

Whether it’s a new kitchen, a full house renovation or even just fitting a cat flap, Malc has always come up trumps.

Not fazed by anything, Malcolm can also arrange other tradesmen to complete specialist tasks taking all the hassle out of what could otherwise be a stressful situation.

We would have no hesitation in recommending Malcolm to anyone.

Malcolm has recently completed extensive refurbishments on two residential properties, and his approach to the projects has been extremely professional.  His workmanship is of a high quality as is that of the other subcontractors he’s employed.

The fit out of the bathrooms, shower rooms and kitchens has been exceptional and this area of the work is clearly a speciality of his.

Both projects have been completed on program with no serious cost overruns and we are delighted with the finished results.

Malc and his team undertook the complete renovation of a property that I bought as a ‘buy to let’.

He project managed the complete renovation from start to finish and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The property had been bought as a ‘repossession’ and was in a very sorry state. Malc transformed it from a complete mess, with no services or functioning bathrooms/kitchen, to a fully functioning and decorated property that I was able to let out within a week of completion.

The project was managed seamlessly and delivered within budget. Malc and his team have a straightforward and pragmatic approach; nothing is too much trouble and every problem was fixed easily and quickly. He designed, supplied and fitted the windows, doors, bathrooms and kitchen and undertook a complete rewire of the property when it became obvious that this was required.

Malc also hand made cupboards and built-in wardrobes to suit the spaces available and create bespoke storage.

My wife and I first met Malcolm Gosnay in June 2010 when he gave us a quote for our kitchen installation. His quote was very competitive and we decided to accept. The work began on time and the installation was satisfactorily completed within the time scale quoted.

We have since employed Malcolm on other projects including a complete bathroom design and installation in June 2013. In July 2014, Malcolm completed our largest project to date with a complete new roof, loft insulation and boarding complete with a Velux window, floor boarding and accessible loft ladders. Again, this work was completed within the timescale quoted and with the minimum of disruption to us.

We are currently about to employ Malcolm for the installation of our new patio doors along with the design and fitting of bespoke lounge cupboards.

To sum up, Malcolm has my complete trust and I have every confidence in recommending him and his team.

I was looking to renovate a property for the first time and wanted a builder that could cover all aspects of the project.

After approaching Malcolm for an estimate of the costs, I decided to go ahead as his price was competitive compared to other builders I had received quotes from and, more importantly, he had been recommended by a friend; which is a better indication than most when it comes to trades!

From the outset Malcolm got everything sorted for me, even approaching other well regarded associates when it came to specialist work that needed doing, which was a huge help.

It was a big task but Malc clearly had experience with this kind of thing as it all went through smoothly. When the house was finished it all looked great and Malcolm was friendly and helpful to deal with throughout.

I will definitely be going back to him for work in the future!

South Lakeland

Malcolm Gosnay recently installed six PVCu double glazed windows into my ground floor flat, which is part of a large Victorian detached house in a conservation area in South Lakeland.

The windows varied in size from a substantial, three-section bay window fitted with toughened glass to a small bathroom window fitted with obscured glazing. The units had to conform to planing requirements and each opening required a considered design to match existing features.

Malcolm carried out the work quickly and efficiently with minimum disruption and inconvenience. The finished job reflected attention to detail and good workmanship. He took pride in his work whilst reflecting a clean and tidy approach throughout.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Malcolm to anyone considering installing PVCu double glazing.
